Playa Tamarindo – Costa Rica

Culebra Island, Puerto Rico



 Isla Culebra ( "Snake Island") is an island-municipality of Puerto Rico originally called Isla Pasaje and Isla de San Ildefonso. It is located approximately 17 miles (27 km) east of the Puerto Rican mainland, 12 miles (19 km) west of St. Thomas and 9 miles (14 km) north of Vieques. Culebra is spread over 5 wards and Culebra (Dewey) Pueblo (The downtown area and the administrative center of the city). The island is also known as Isla Chiquita ("Little Island") and Ăšltima Virgen ("Last Virgin", reflecting its position at the end of the Virgin Islands archipelago). Residents of the island are known as Culebrenses.

Flamenco Beach – Culebra Island, Puerto Rico


Flamenco Beach is considered the second most beautiful beach in the world by Discover Channel and by far the most popular beach in Culebra.
Its white sandy beach stretches along the entire bay, you will feel the Caribbean sun everywhere and wonder why you had waited this long.
Flamenco is a great place to snorkle, sunbathe, swim, socialize and camp out. The beach is easily accessible thus making it a definite stop for most visitors.
You will find the campground office located right at the entrance to Flamenco beach, as this is the only spot on the island that camping is allowed.


The Baths – Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands


Virgin Gorda is the third-largest (after Tortola and Anegada) and second most populous of the British Virgin Islands(BVI). Located at approximately 18 degrees, 48 minutes North, and 64 degrees, 30 minutes West, it covers an area of about 8 square miles (21 km2). Christofer Columbus is said to have named the island "The Fat Virgin", because the island's profile on the horizon looks like a fat woman lying on her side.
The main town is Spanish Town on the southwestern part of the island.
An unusual geologic formation known as "The Baths" located on the southern end of the island makes Virgin Gorda one of the BVI's major tourist destinations. At The Baths, the beach shows evidence of the island's volcanic origins, as huge granite boulders lie in piles on the beach, forming scenicgrottoes that are open to the sea.
